Charitable Events Website
A contemporary website for charitable events, designed to make causes, dates, and contribution opportunities easy to understand. The build focused on responsive layouts, straightforward content management, and a calmer user journey for visitors who want to take action.

Overview
The website was built to make charitable events easier to understand and easier to act on. Visitors can move from causes to event details to contribution paths without having to decode a complex site structure.
Event, cause, and contribution content are modeled as separate custom post types with their own ACF field groups, rather than one generic “page” type stretched to cover all three. That keeps the templates predictable and gives the team structured fields to fill in instead of freeform page content.
Technical Approach
I built a custom WordPress theme using ACF Pro, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The goal was to avoid a generic page-builder setup and give the organization a cleaner editing model built around the content they actually publish.
Accessibility, readability, and mobile usability were treated as core requirements. The result is a site that supports public communication while staying manageable for the people maintaining it.
